About The Racing Blog

This area of exaflop.org is dedicated to motor-racing. For the time being it is mostly for hosting a blog with my thoughts about motor-racing (hence the name), but hopefully in time I will have the time to add other features. Mostly I just wanted to get a lot of things off my chest, particularly about Formula 1.

My blog posts have a comments facility on them. I will delete any offensive or insulting comments, but if you have any constructive criticism or comments relevant to the post in question then please feel free to add them.

I'm a software developer by trade and I've been a Formula 1 fan since the early '90s. I'm disappointed that I didn't get into it earlier, as everyone is always going on about how much better it used to be. Likewise I remember the early '90s being much better than now. Is F1 getting worse over time, or do we just remember things better than they are? Anyway, I have a particular interest in the technology of Formula 1 as well as the business side of it. Other motor-racing interests are Le Mans prototypes and the new A1GP series.
