No. 3 At The Restaurant
I have a friend that I am taking out to dinner. She has asked me to order her food, as she will be late. I have a list of her culinary likes and dislikes but none of the likes match any items on the menu. For this teaser you must discern the pattern and tell me which of the three menu options I should order for each course. (Hint: this is a straight logic problem and has nothing to do with the actual foodstuffs). Your answer must include a short description of the solution in addition to the actual answers. |

Subject: Brainteaser # 3 - one possible solution
Well, I got at least one solution. (One problem with this kind of logical teasers is that when one allows any level of complexity an infinite number of solutions is possible (for example, consider the numerical equivalents of the numbers, then a lot of mathematical patterns can be discerned)... but let's stick to the rather obvious ones, now shall we? ;-P)
You will want to order her Vegetable soup , Chilli Con Carne and Pancakes, because she @#49*#$ hates anything that has an 'm' in the name.
